There WAS a fantastic Whale Museum here…now closed. It was on our ‘to do’ list, but once we got here, learned it was gone. All sorts of ancient whale artifacts, rare scrimshaw, whale skeletons – on and on. Shelly C.

This small museum was located just north of Lahana on Maui’s northwestern shore, in the Whaler’s Village shopping center, The Whalers Museum provided a colorful description of the town’s history and the relationship between the island and the whales. The museum closed in 2015.
