Demolished 2011

Dallas High School is a public high school located in Dallas, Pennsylvania. The old school building was demolished, and a new building was built in 2011. In 2016, enrollment was reported as 888 pupils in 9th through 12th grades. This painting was based on an uncredited image taken from a high school year book.

We were the first group of students at this ‘new’ school in 1966 (I was a sophomore; there were only seniors, juniors and sophomores). The ‘now new’ school has classes in studies I’ve never heard of. I can’t believe they tore down my brand-new school. Florence R.
