The destroyed place I would like to re-visit is the UK, a key member of the European Union. Anon.

The United Kingdom left the European Union on January 31, 2020 after a 1916 referendum narrowly supported leaving the Union with a vote share of 51.9% for Brexit. The UK had been a member for 47 years, joining the Union in 1973. A previous referendum held in 1975 supported the UK remaining in the European Union by 67.2% of votes cast. There was a transition period, lasting until December 31, 2020 where the UK continued to participate in the European Union Customs Union and European Single Market. I made this painting from open source photographs of the European flag and the UK Parliament’s Big Ben.
