I used to come here for all of my birthday parties as a child. Kimberley D.

Pleasurama was an amusement park in Ramsgate featuring a listed railway, an amusement arcade, cafe/restaurant and bingo hall that burned down in 1998, just two years after its purchase by Jimmy Godden. The site has lain derelict since but recently work has started by landowner, Blueberry Homes, on a new development with a hotel, apartments and beachfront shops. The painting is based on a old postcard.
