The Mashki Gate (Arabic: ماشکی دروازه) or Gate of the Water Carriers was a gate in the mudbrick wall of the archeological site of Ninevehan ancient Assyrian city located on the outskirts of Mosul. in Iraq. The Assyrian original was probably plastered and ornamented. It was bulldozed along with the Adad Gate during the city’s occupation by Islamic State and the Levant. The painting is based on an uncredited
