I would like to live in a world without evil, bathed in God’s love. Anon.

The Garden of Eden is a garden into which God placed the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. As described in Genesis 2-3 and Ezekiel 28 & 31 of the Old Testament, Adam and Eve were expelled from this terrestrial paradise after they ate from the one tree forbidden to them by God, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A serpent seduced Eve into eating the fruit and she then persuaded Adam to follow. Cherubin and a flaming sword prevented their return to prevent them from eating from the tree of life and thus living forever.
